We hope you had a wonderfully Merry Christmas. Now it is time to party down for the New Year! Here is a list of some fun New Year’s Eve events for you to consider. Along with these events, every self-respecting bar and casino in and around Tahoe will have something going on that night. Be safe, have fun and call a cab if needed – the police and CHP/NHP will be out in full force that night:
New Year’s Eve Celebration at Jake’s from 5:30pm – Come early with the family for an Ala Carte Menu, or come later for a 3-course Prix Fixe menu, and ring in the New Year with party hats, a champagne toast, & dancing. Guaranteed reservations required.
New Year’s Eve at Northstar starting at 8pm – Ring in the New Year during our annual Fire & Ice New Year’s Eve Celebration – it’s guaranteed fun for all ages! There will be a DJ, live music by Led Zeppelin 2 – The Live Experience, a spectacular Fireworks show, smores, drink specials, shopping, dining, ice skating and more.
New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Squaw Valley begins at 9:30pm – Ring in the New Year at Squaw Valley with a New Year’s Eve Fireworks Extravaganza. The show starts at 9:30pm and is viewable from the Base Area. Grab a hot cocoa and find a seat as you take in the New Year with an amazing firework display at the bottom of the mountain.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet at The Ritz-Carlton from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Celebrate the impending arrival of 2012 at The Ritz-Carlton over a sumptuous buffet of seasonal, culinary delights with favorites for the entire family. Adults $95.00, Children ages 4 to 10 $35.00, Children under 4 complimentary.
Pre-New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party at Alpine Meadows from 2pm-5pm – Plan your new beginning at the Alpine Bar this New Year’s Eve! The Pre-New Year’s Eve Cocktail party is the perfect way to jump-start the countdown to midnight. Featuring festive cocktails, delicious appetizers and live music by Peter Joseph Burtt, skiers and riders can celebrate a resolution, bid 2011 farewell, and ring in 2012.
Lone Eagle Grille New Year Celebration at Hyatt Regency, Incline Village from 5:30-12:30am – Have a classy blast listening to the DJ in the lounge then Dine on the regular dinner menu from 5:30-7:00pm or opt to enjoy a 5-course meal from 8:00-10:30. Either way you choose, this New Year is going to be fashionably stylish and a lot of fun in the Lone Eagle Grille.
New Year’s Eve Bash at The Hyatt beginning at 9:00pm – Ring in the new year with a top 40 DJ, Drinks, and Dancing all night long in Cutthroat’s Saloon.
