Come to the Tahoe/Truckee this weekend and enjoy a concert, a luau or maybe a hike or bike ride. Beautiful weather and less crowds with many kids starting back to school make it a great weekend to visit. While you’re at it, why not look into buying a mountain retreat to enjoy all year?

Here are some fun events this weekend to enjoy -

The 2nd Annual Pacific Fine Arts Festival will be held at The Boatworks Marina Green in Tahoe City Friday through Sunday.

Also in Tahoe City on Sunday, Vinyl will be playing the free concert at Common’s Beach starting at 4:00pm with a melding of funk, Latin jazz, dub and reggae.

Both Saturday and Sunday in Kings Beach the Ta-Hoe Nalu Stand-Up Paddleboard Festival will be happening with several races, fun events along with a Luau and concert starting at 5:00. The elite race will have $10,000 in prize money.

This is also the last weekend for The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor. This is a must-do, fun event. Check it out this weekend or you’ll have to wait until next year.
