Beautiful fall weather has been the norm lately, but there are some changes on the horizon. There is cooler than usual temps and a slight chance of the white stuff in the forecast for the weekend. Here are some fun events to enjoy:

November 5 – Chocolate, Wine & Roses Festival ~ Incline Village – This themed event will highlight the Rat Pack Era in North Tahoe in the 60′s. Guests will enjoy delectable chocolate creations by 8 of Tahoe’s finest culinary artists, taste fine wine from more than 10 wineries near and far, and bid on tatalizing live & silent auction items. Heavy appetizers will be served. Come dressed as your favorite Rat Pack or come as you are. Cocktail attire suggested.

 November 5 – Truckee Ski Swap – Great deals on downhill, cross country and snowboarding equipment for the entire family can be found at the Truckee Community Recreation Center from 11 am to 4 pm. $2 charge at the door.
